Chadian Minister of Livestock Visits Cantek Reference Abattoirs

Gaziantep, Türkiye. As part of preparations for the implementation of the N’Djamena Industrial Meat Complex Project, the Minister of Livestock and Animal Production of Chad, H.E. Abderahim Awat Atteib, visited two reference abattoirs in Gaziantep on 30 June 2026.

The technical visit was organized to provide the ministerial delegation with firsthand insight into proven slaughterhouse technologies and operational best practices through the inspection of successfully operating reference facilities. By visiting completed projects, the delegation was able to evaluate processing workflows, hygiene standards, automation systems, operational efficiency, and overall plant functionality in a real production environment.

The objective was to validate technical concepts and gain practical experience from operational facilities before moving into the next stages of project execution.
Following the reference plant visits in Gaziantep, the Chadian delegation is scheduled to continue its mission in Antalya, Türkiye, where a series of technical, administrative, and financial negotiations will take place. These meetings are expected to advance discussions regarding project implementation, engineering details, commercial arrangements, and the overall execution roadmap.

We are honored to welcome high-level government delegations seeking practical, field-based validation of modern meat processing technologies. Reference plant visits remain an essential part of our project development approach, allowing decision-makers to evaluate real-world performance before proceeding with large-scale investments.
